Midnight Flight

February 2, 2011 by jrwatson5

Midnight MoonI bathe in the luminous starlight

Cleansing my soul of the dried tears of yesterday

My fears and pains are washed clear away

Into the deep night.

Pure moonlight paints my wings

The deep black of slumber forgotten

As I soar ever higher, in joyous flight besotten

Into this tranquil world devoid of earthly things.
