Take a break from all your worries and raise a glass to a great cause. WITS has teamed with Spacetaker for an evening of “Cultured Cocktails” at the chic, eclectic destination bar Boheme located in the heart of Montrose. Learn what WITS is doing to keep arts education alive in Houston. We’ll mix and mingle while sipping martinis and virgin drinks. Be warned: some gleeful singing and dancing may result! Proceeds from Cultured Cocktails benefit WITS year-long creative writing programs and after school workshops. Open to the public.

What: Writers in the Schools (WITS) and Spacetaker Invite You to Cultured Cocktails
When: Thursday, June 23, 2011, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Where: Boheme Cafe and Wine Bar, 307 Fairview at Taft
Why: To help support educational programming at WITS
